5-Axis CNC Machining for Complex Precision Components
5-axis simultaneous machining allows us to produce complex geometries that are impossible or economically impractical on conventional 3-axis machines. SCreate operates multiple 5-axis machining centers, enabling us to machine impellers, turbine housings, medical components, automotive valve bodies and precision fixtures in a single setup — eliminating re-fixturing errors and dramatically reducing lead times.
Capabilities
What We Deliver
Simultaneous 5-Axis Contouring
Full A/B/C-axis simultaneous movement enables undercuts, angled holes and free-form surfaces without repositioning.
Single-Setup Accuracy
Eliminating multiple setups removes cumulative positioning error — critical for tight GD&T on complex parts.
Impeller & Turbine Machining
Open and closed impellers in aluminum, titanium and stainless steel with blade profile tolerance ≤0.03mm, balanced to G6.3.
Deep Cavity Milling
Long-reach tooling and advanced CAM toolpaths maintain surface finish and accuracy in cavities up to 5× diameter depth.
Difficult Materials
Titanium Ti-6Al-4V, Inconel, hardened tool steel, PEEK and other challenging materials machined with optimised parameters.
DFM Support
Our engineers review your designs for manufacturability and suggest geometry optimisations before cutting begins.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machining?
3-axis machines move in X, Y and Z. 5-axis machines add two rotational axes, allowing the cutter to approach the workpiece from virtually any angle. This enables complex parts to be completed in one setup, improving accuracy and reducing lead time.
What part sizes can you machine on your 5-axis centres?
Our 5-axis centres accommodate parts up to approximately 600mm × 600mm × 500mm. Contact us for larger parts.
Can you machine impellers and turbine wheels?
Yes. We regularly manufacture open and closed impellers in aluminum, stainless steel and titanium for fuel cells, turbochargers and compressors, with blade profile tolerances to ±0.02mm.
What is your typical lead time for 5-axis prototypes?
Standard prototype lead time is 7–14 business days depending on complexity and material. Express 5–7 day service is available for urgent requirements.
