Sheet Metal & Welding

Sheet Metal Welding and Fabrication for Industrial Equipment

Beyond precision CNC machining, SCreate operates a full sheet metal fabrication and welding division. We cut, bend, weld and finish steel, stainless steel and aluminum structures for industrial automation equipment frames, machine bases, enclosures and heavy weldments. Our capacity handles plates up to 20mm thick, and our certified welders produce joints that meet structural and pressure requirements.

Capabilities

What We Deliver

Laser & Plasma Cutting

Sheet metal cutting in steel, stainless steel and aluminum up to 20mm thick with tolerances to ±0.1mm.

CNC Bending & Forming

Press brake forming with 3D simulation to pre-calculate springback. Bend angles held to ±0.5° consistently.

MIG / TIG / Laser Welding

Structural MIG welding for carbon steel frames, TIG welding for stainless steel and aluminum, laser welding for thin sheet.

Heavy Weldments

Large welded bases, gantry frames and machine tool bodies. Post-weld stress relief, straightening and machining of critical surfaces to ±0.1mm.

Surface Treatment

Sandblasting, primer and powder coating, electro-galvanizing and painting to RAL colour specification.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What sheet metal thicknesses can you cut and form?

We process sheet and plate from 0.5mm to 20mm depending on material. Laser cutting is used for sheets up to 12mm; plasma and flame cutting for heavier plate.

Do you offer post-weld machining?

Yes. We machine mounting faces, bore holes and mill datum surfaces on welded structures in our CNC machining centres.

Can you weld stainless steel and aluminum?

Yes. We TIG weld 304 and 316L stainless steel, and MIG/TIG weld 6061 and 5052 aluminum with helium/argon shielding gas.
